In this post I told you about the latest polish releases from Essence & Catrice. I haven't seen the Catrice ones yet, but the new Essence ones hit my local Penneys last week. This is Upper Green Side.
There's a hint of shimmer in the bottle, which I wasn't mad about when I picked it up:
But thankfully, that doesn't show up on the nail.
It was opaque in two coats, but I gave it three just... because. It's a lovely bright spring colour, not dissimilar to what a lot of other brands are releasing at the moment - but not many of the others come in at a price of €1.89. Super impressed.
I added an accent nail using an Essence nude glam polish and some yellow pearls from a nail art wheel:
I'm delighted with this polish, I don't have any other green exactly like it, and it's a welcome addition to my collection for this time of year. I'm definitely going to pick up one or two more at some stage. Every time I look down at my nails I want sunshine and ice-cream. Is it too early to start buying tangle twisters?
